PREPARATION STRATEGY - PART 1

In this Post , I wanted to tell you How to go for the Preparation of Civil Services Examination and be confident before the day of the exam.
Before starting I would make few things clear that Since it's your exam so only you can work hard and only you can give up you play and delight. no one else is going to come and if anyone is coming remember he can just assist you from behind without actually fighting for you.

Remember "Lord Krishna" in the battle of Mahabharata , he was there throughout the battle but didn't took up the arms for Arjuna.

Now coming back to preparation , remember one Golden Word :-  'UNDERSTANDING'
U:- Understanding
N:-Notes Making
D:-Dedication
E:-Evaluation of your work.
R:-Resolving doubts.
S:-Studying as much as you can.
T:-Time Table adherence / Test Series
A:-Analysis
N:-Newspaper
D:- Daily Revision
I:-Insights
N:-No wastage of Time
G:-Good Luck !!

This is the Golden Word for Aspirants. Follow the steps and ingrain them in your daily routine.
There should not be any single day when you are not following your timetable , there should not be a single day when you are not reading Newspaper or not revising.

Remember a thorough Preparation of UPSC Exam requires at least 12 months of dedicated preparation, Then only we can think of scoring high enough marks in MAINS EXAMINATION that we easily get into the services.

"THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH" You have to toil hard in order to achieve something you dream of.

I would suggest you to prepare one timetable and include some very essential things that I am going to tell:-

1)THE HINDU NEWSPAPER DAILY :-1-2 Hours only, because if you are reading it for more than this period that means you are reading those News items which are not so relevant from the Exam Perspective.

2)Optional Subject : At least  5 Hrs , Remember still Optional alone has 500 marks and they can prove to be a game changer. Everyday have place for Optional Subject in your daily routine.

3)GS I -IV : As per your need keep on completing your GS Syllabus. 3 Hrs At least.

4)Other Sources of Study : PIB (You can see news analysis in www.theexamsmadesimple only), You can refer INSIGHTS on INDIA for SECURE and CURRENT , MRUNAL PATEL etc... 2-3 Hours

Total You need to give 13-14 Hours , yes I will not lie to you like others who say study for 5-6-7 hours daily and clear the exam, This requires > 10 Hours regular continuous studies.

My aim is not to frighten you but to make you aware of the reality.

This is Part one of the Strategy for Preparation , I will be posting other strategies also, other suggestions for you to easily pass this preparation phase.

The earlier we get aware of and accept the reality , the better it is.

"THINK YOU CAN , AND YOU ARE HALF WAY DONE"

I hope this post will bring you little bit close to reality friends, start following the steps above mentioned and I am sure you will start seeing the difference.

THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY !!
